Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I might see if the lads are in at the Cerne Abbas brewery. They are mad as a box of frogs, but terrific fun.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I've been reading how car manufacturers and phone companies, Google etc track people's location and how it gives clues on health (do they regularly visit am HIV clinic), go to a gym, speed in their car, etc.
I'm chuckling. I bet they think I have a shopping addiction and drive dangerously. Google maps often asks me if I really spent 8,9 or 10 hours at a shopping centre. It also marks me as driving when I get on the train, so I probably speed at 120mph. |

It amazes me that google knows when I am motorcycling rather than driving. It's useful to see what roads I've been on during rideouts

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Yesterday's smile. Got home from work at 3.30. In laws were round, they left at 8.00. My wife calls out to me as she's waving them off. "Why's your bike still on the drive?" I go out there and yes there it is. With the key still in the ignition! 4 1/2 hours later. I knew I was tired yesterday, but **** me. Made me smile at my own stupidity. Glad I live in an alright area.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
New carpet in the sitting room. After ten years of the old one, which survived two dogs and countless spillages of various food and drink (father in law nodded off once spilling a WHOLE mug of tea), the house seems a lot fresher.
After the hernia-inducing move out and back of all the junk that normally lives in the room I have noticed a small lump in the middle of the room. Looks like the fitters have left a small screwdriver or similar under the carpet... They're going to be pleased when we get them back to put it right. And they can move the furniture this time!

A few years ago I left the car keys in the tailgate lock (before the days of remote fobs) - still there next morning, we do live in a cul-de-sac and it was dark so after panic of wondering where keys were all OK, you only need distracting at the wrong time and it is easy to do.

Bought a camera lens from camerajungle.co.uk and they threw in a 16Gb sandisk extreme card for free!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I got mugged for my Samsung S7 phone last week as I left an event.
Our IT manager loaned me his unused almost brand new S7 Edge for the weekend and said if I liked it I could buy it off him. I was budgeting about £400 to replace my handset and this is a better model, so I asked today how much he wanted for it. He said I'm always baking for them which he loves, so next time we go out, buy him a burger and a pint and it's mine. What a sweetie Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
