They stay on the whole time, except when you turn your headlights on they should dim.

Halfords won't change bulbs on some cars as they know it's a big or difficult job. Our scenic requires major arm trauma to get the passenger bulb replaced.

Taking the headlight out is only a couple of screws on all Focus models . . . . much easier

Barstewarding credit card companies deciding to issue a statement whenever they feel like it. "Oh your payment was made on the same day we printed our statement so it doesn't count, despite the fact you payed in 100x the minimum payment, so here is a Late Payment Charge"

Well can you please make the bill the same day every month so I know wtf to expect?

"No, it's between bla and bla. Good luck with that"

F***ers

they cant change your payment date unless notifying you first or it falls on a weekend. send them a letter and charge them for that letter. also state on the letter that if they don't comply with your request within 14 days you will start proceedings via the small claims court and if you win they will be responsible for all court charges. send the letter via registered mail and keep the details of the date sent and receipt.

if you dont hear from them then within the 14 days then start court proceedings. dont mess about. small claims court judges frown upon credit companies taking up court time.

They said they would refund the late payment charge as a goodwill gesture since I payed on the same day, but in future I should save my payments until a statement has been issued. It's such a backwards way of doing things. Why can't it just be from the start to the end of each month? It's particularly frustrating because I always pay WAY more than I need to, to get it payed off asap.

The late ones require one underneath the car to be removed

Ford kacks require the wheel and arch off

I agree with Bib. I don't remember ever having a credit card that didn't have the same payment date every month. My Santander one is on the 5th, and as its linked to my Santander, current account , i can choose to pay it all off every month, pay some of it off, or pay the minimum. All by direct debit.

why dont you set up a dd to pay an amount so that you dont get stung with these charges?

you can make more than one payment a month.
