Sainsbury's. Is that kind of middle class?

Or she got it from Tiptree as it's just down the road.

Smile of the day - What is yours?
Just realised I must be posh, given the hard in my cupboards. I've bloody made it at last!
Yes, it's balsamic vinegar in the background. Last edited by Red ones; 13-02-18 at 10:52 PM. |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
When Essex won the County Championship 2nd div and got promoted in 2016 I tweeted that they were powered by my sponge cakes filled with Tiptree preserves, as they are their sponsor and I love their jams. 24 hours later a box of a dozen various jars arrived at Lord's with a note saying 'Keep baking so they keep winning'. Sure enough, they won division 1 in 2017.
The one jar I hadn't used was the salted caramel, and it was still in date, but until I saw that recipe this week I didn't know what to use it for. Everyone loved the cake. My local Sainsbury do stock it. But as mentioned, I live close to Tiptree. Here's the recipe again in case you wanted to try it, I used hazelnuts in place of pistachios as they'd sold out and used gold decorations just to make it look extra nice. The Tiptree jar is smaller than used in the recipe but it was plenty. Just leave a generous dessert spoonful or two to drizzle on top. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Thought I had cashed in all my old company shares last year, today a statement arrives and I have €800 sat in the account.
So log in and it says empty as I thought, looked at the statement again and it is a different subdomain of my Paris bank. So enter the access codes and damn it needs a password, so fill in the I never received a password and they are snail mailing it to my home. Going through old statements I discover that I have been receiving account info and a password. So enter it, no. Enter again, no. try my old favorite password and account is now locked. So I guess I need to wait for the French/UK postal service. If the password does not work and the account is still locked then I will have to talk my best French for them to let me in. Worse is the French banks require a stupid document that only exists in France to legally identify your bank with IBAN code/account etc. To shift the money out. Still £700 I didn't know I had, worth reading the junk mail! even if it is going to be a pain to shift out of France.

22 cupcakes eaten in record time, if I ever need love, the way to get it is by baking for my colleagues.
