Talking Re: Strangest injuries

I have a hairy axe wound...

...due to a case of wrong tools & tiredness.

I was putting some wooden fence posts in to make a temporary fence on a slope & had been fixing up the garden all day & was about done in.
I hadn't got a mallet or sledge hammer so instead used my log splitting maul.
The last post was higher than i could manage without grabbing a step/stool & typically struggled ahead anyway.
I missed the top of the post & the axe blade swung across the top of my right thigh.

Sufficed to say my jeans went red & I'm now the proud owner of a 4" scar.

Just reminded me about the time me and a mate tried to make mercury pellets for an air rifle, our theory was to use a thermometer and remove the glass at the top, heat bottom so the mercury rises up and out in to a pot, what actually happened was it exploded out and landed on my top lip and burnt me

All my things seem to have a pattern about them looking at them written down

I broke 2 ribs, chipped 5 teeth and had a lovely 90* angle in the side of my head from a work bench.. Still no idea how it happened. I just remember waking up on a spinal board and that's it, oh and there was no one around to see it so it still remains a mystery!

Just remembered another, was using a set of CW bmx bars as a thingy to slide down an ariel runway in a friends back garden, we'd all been drinking dodgy cider, I went down no bother but failed to move when someone else came down, got a set of bars to the head and leaked a lot of claret.

Sulphuric acid burn to the testicles.

Knocked myself unconscious with a Pirelli P6.

30 year old carb full of fuel with every screw seized. Decided to apply a little heat...with a blow torch. Holding the flaming carb in my hand, my reaction was to shake it to put the flames out. That released the remaining fuel and also revealed that a further amount had already drained out down my jumper which also then lit up. Like a bad day on the Ho Chi Min trail.

I'm currently sporting a gash to my left calf, pretty bad bruising to my right thigh, a dead leg that's lasted 2 days so far and has given out a couple of times when walking, serious bruising to the abdomen and a little pain in the right shoulder. This was from putting the kids to bed a couple of nights ago.
