Emptying the sugar pots and replacing them with Salt. Honestly the worst thing I ever tasted was Corn Flakes and Salt.

Breaking into the canteen at night and stealing big boxes of chocolate.

Running onto the 9th hole of the local golf course and putting every ball hit into the sand.

Im sure there will be more but those are some of the sedate stuff.

At school I was always known as the kid that did some of the naughtiest stuff along with the other lads but I never ever got caught. Is a record I still hold today

The double decker bus bit reminds me of a game we used to play on the way to school. Sit in the front left hand side seats and push your face against the glass, with your eyes open. Don't move/blink when one of the numerous branches jutting out from the trees at the roadside smashes into the glass at 45mph. First one to flinch loses. We only stopped playing when we ended up getting so good at it that no one ever flinched.

In hindsight, spectacularly stupid and it's lucky no one got glass in their face, but that's childhood for you.

Either way, highly childish.

But then we were children.
A variant on this that we did was to take sachets of tartare sauce/mayo, puncture them with a pin and discretely "fire" the contents into the lap of a friend/enemy, under the table. Even if they didn't notice immediately upon landing, after a minute it'd soak through and they would invariably stand up, hand and lap covered in the stuff, which would be clearly highlighted on the black school uniforms. From a distance it looked horribly realistic and the look of confusion/horror on the victims' face was priceless. We did it infrequently enough that no one ever got to know what it was/who was doing it.

Oh, the childhood memories. Being beaten up, having like 4 friends... breaking windows at school..

Also stealing a Twix bar from the co-op and not getting caught. First and last thing I've ever/will ever steal that was! Was only about 11 at the time, not proud when I look back.

Never really done any sorts of practical jokes, just had a general laugh, as you do.

grass sledging on cardboard. Was an absolute hoot when we were kids, but my god it didn't half give you grass burns Its the best thing in the world, but I wouldn't do it now.....

....well ok then if I found a hill steep enough I might, after all I went sledging in the snow for the first time in about 15 years.

The grass sledging got taken over by a motorcross bike later on, when we were a bit older, and the lads in the group perferred to do acrobatics down in the field at the bottom of our street on iy, the days of no helmets when it wasn;t so frowned upon. Shame the bike in question got its front wheel down a grass covered ditch. Was hilarious seeing two teens with their torsos stuck underground and their legs waving around...shouting hlep!

One of the last weeks at school there was a large set of lockers (around 50 all together). We turned them upside down so the locks where on the other side but that was boring so we turned them around too so the doors where facing the wall.

Pulled open the lift doors (when it was on the right floor) and threw peoples bags in when they wern't looking hehe good times!

Launching firework rockets out of a length of scaffolding on our shoulders.

Would have been more difficult if you had your head sticking out of the window and the trees where hitting you in the face !

Squirting the Jiffy Lemon thingys up the space between the back and sitting part of the seat on to the girls bums. Having a crafty fag with the back window of the bus open, our bus looked like it was on fire with about a dozen of us in the back seat.
Sticking a bit of chewing gum on the stop bell as you got off----happy innocent days
