Re: my head is now officialy in a mess
I understand slightly how you must feel. My daughter (15) leaves Scotland for good tomorrow to live in Paignton with my friend until I can sell flat and find a new house in Hants to be our new family home. Then when I leave I will be upset about leaving my mum and dad and my dad is not at all well and I worry about my mum. family eh - who would have them

Re: my head is now officialy in a mess
Good luck to him - NZ is a fantastic place and I expect that he'll be really happy there. I'd love to live there, but I couldn't persuade Mrs Wyrdness to move away from her family.
With t'internet, you'll be able to keep in touch with him really easily, something that wouldn't have been possible when I was 17. You could both get webcams so that you can still see each other regularly. |

Feel for you mate, I really do.
In January I saw my then girlfriend off at Gatwick as she set of for Oz on a four year contract. She was the only girl I'd considered asking to marry me, since I divorced in 1995. I had to stop just off the M25 in floods of tears on the way home. |
