He didn't have any drains in, which surprised me as well as a few others. including my mum (ex nurse), and our mate who had a bike off last year, who pretty much went through the same as Matt in his accident 10 yrs ago. Matt was only in the hospital 2 days. The morphine drip was only in a day.....he still says it was a conspiracy when they took it away, he went for an xray and the pump conveniently wouldn't work!!

Get well soon.

Have they given you any target dates You know, the boring stuff like when you'll be able to walk again and important stuff like when you can ride again

Hi there Ape, the first target date is the 6 week check where i'm sent off for more x-rays and more advanced physio. Walkin' is slow and steady at the moment because of the need for the bone to heal well and to avoid dislocation of the hip joint. Haven't been out for any wild nights out yet due to the cruel mrs keeping me under lock and key, same with the bike. As for riding the bike that will probably start happening again in about 2 months when everything starts healing up nicely, the only problem with the Raptor is the fact that my hip is bent at more than 90 degrees to my torso so one of the SRX'S might be employed foor transport. Here's hopin'

Well, here's hoping the recovery goes unhindered for you. If your anything like me, you'll be riding before your meant to.

When I had my clavicle plated and pinned, I turned up at my first otho appointment on the bike. That was a week later. hehe.

If you need someone to keep the wheels of the Raptor moving, look no further.

oi, shes mine first just needs a nice person to help change the shock, and put a new tyre on the rear and she'd be out of my shed quicker than Matt could move.................well ok then maybe not
