Re: Pennine Massive where are you all?
A friend went to Tailand on the 17th December, that day was the first day of snow and its never completly cleared since. If its anything to do with Ben been away then we've got another 5 weeks of it until he returns from his travels (and ladyboys).

Yes, well I have a better chain in this time... I think! Though you never know. Im still pretty sure the last one was simply a problem with production. Oh train fare, 5 mins ride from Elsecar to Chapeltown, about 3 miles by rail. £2.80 return!?!?!?!? The problem I have is that I need bus and train so getting a pass might be a problem, or obscenely expensive Plan is to use the bike again when im not risking throwing it down the road due to excessive ice. grrr |

Re: Pennine Massive where are you all?
More useful might be a barnsley travelmaster - you'll need to go to a travel information centre to get it though, and I don't know where you'd find one near you. 16.60/wk or 61.60/mth for unlimited bus + train in barnsley (think it also includes meadowhall by train).
Works out well for me, as Swinton - Sheffield is £5 return at peak, but the pass that covers knocks it down to £4 and any pleasure travel after that is free |

Ah, most of my traveling is to work in sheffield so it might not work so great Perhaps there is a sheff version... But again I wouldnt want to buy it for too long as using pub transport adds about 2.5 hours to my day! and at least 1.5 hours of that I can avoid with the bike. |

Re: Pennine Massive where are you all?
I'm in the same boat, having to get the full south yorkshire pass to cross from doncaster region, through rotherham and into the sheffield zone, but the pass does include the tram in the city. Price goes up to £85/mo for that one though.
