Re: Rideout sat 20th OCT
how was it then?
gutted i couldn't make it, stupid ****ty bike, really peeing me off at the moment. Think i'm gonna rip that alarm out, never had a problem with the battery until it was fitted, and now i got a new battery so... when all else fails, give it a kicking |

Re: Rideout sat 20th OCT
Drapes, was a quality ride indeed but certainly not one you would have wanted to break down on. Not much civilisation around for a fair few miles either way.. I know the way we went so we can always do it another time when you got the battery sorted..

yeah i'll rip the alarm off, get some jump leads and hopefully it'll be back in action
it's alright once its going, just when cold and left for more than a few days it just cant quite start let you know how i get on and we'll go out for a stint |

Re: Rideout sat 20th OCT
Don't think we could have done a longer route because it was seriously cold this morning
definately worth getting a trickle charger draper, if you havn't already got one. I had the same probs with my curvy in the last 6 months I owned it. |

Bike batteries are pretty small, with an alarm fitted they drain current, it does't take too long to discharge em. I use an Optimate if the bikes not used for much over a week. |
