Re: Ice Cream Run
I've been looking forward to the St.Andrews ice cream run, so it can't be Largs.

Re: Ice Cream Run
Yeah, watching that ferry at Largs last year gave me a real itch to go sailing

Re: Ice Cream Run
think I'll end the location poll as st Andrews looks like a certainty. So all we need now is the date, so if you haven't voted for a date then please do!!!
Once we have a date finalised I'll collate a list of attendees and post meeting points and routes, probably McDs at S. Q'ferry for edinburgers, numb and cauld little chef for weegies and inbetweeners and somewhere for northies with a meet at kinross services for the run up. If one of the fifers with a better knowledge of the roads over there would like to step up and plan the route from kinross to st A's I'd appreciate it. I'll wait and see who's going before I tie down the timings and post ice cream run. Think Stuartyboy led the last one I was on but he's otherwise occupied just now. |

Re: Ice Cream Run
we tend to take a slightly more meandering route than that, need to give folks the oportunity to get lost, have some pheasants thrown at us by passing landrovers and if I remember correctly the wettest darkest twistieist tree avenued wall lined road in Scotland

Re: Ice Cream Run
Nah. That's boring.
I thinking coastal run at the moment as we have done most of the other routes and the east neuk area has some lovely roads. The trouble is the villages. <wanders off to think>
