Re: Just got some Michelin Pilot Road 2's
I got some of these fitted yesturday, the difference was how I always imagined going from an SV to a sports 6 would be in handling...
I can't tell yet if its only because of having new tyres or if its this particular make but damn does it feel good. I was doing my motorway sliproad (long bendy thing) about 20mph then I could on my worn 020's and I was still taking it easy on the tires due to the rubbing in period! I reckon once rubbed in i'll be able to do it full throttle woot! |

Re: Just got some Michelin Pilot Road 2's
Right just clocked up a thousand miles on mine. Only sunny day riding so far, so no feedback on wet weather ability.
Bear in mind that these are all two-up miles too. So they have lost about 1mm of tread. 6mm left. Performance: Fantastic Much better than the Diablo's IMO. For my riding style at least. Inspire confidence especially the front end. Michelin recommend 34 front and 36 rear, with no increase in pressure for pillions or speed. Was a bit sceptical but no sidewall flexing as far as I can feel. |

Mine go on tomorrow so an evening review will be forthcoming as long as the bike passes the MOT

Re: Just got some Michelin Pilot Road 2's
oh.. the big dilema
z6's or the pilot's Have to get new tyres within a week... (going on a longer trip, around 900 miles in 5 days next week). Prices are almost the same (£189 vs £195 fitted) doing daily commuting, about 120 miles a week, plus the occasional trip on the weekend. Can anyone say more about longevity? Cheers |

They had posters up advertising the PR2's while I was there today - I'd already ordered the Z6's though... |
