Re: Hellingly Asylum (Hellingly Hospital)
We used to have great fun creeping around the websters brewery after it went out of business as well as a few other places.
At the time I had a PNG (should never have sold it!), and it was a great buzz in some of the dodgier places watching the security wander about with torches. Very "splinter-cell" lol.

Re: Hellingly Asylum (Hellingly Hospital)
I'm a bit late in replying to this thread, but thought I'd share a few pics. About 3 years ago I spent a summer working for Mark Warner Holidays on a greek island called lemnos.
There's this abandoned hotel on the island which we used to go visit. The pics I have don't really do it much justice, the main building is huge with lots of underground levels and even an underground swimming pool, Obviously it's been completely gutted, but like amny of the buildings on this thread, a seriously spooky place. Driving up to the hotel which is in the middle of nowhere there are chevrons with shotgun bullet holes through them, it's an amazing place. If anyone fancied a visit, Neilson holidays still have a resort on the island, MW closed theirs down 2 years ago. |
