Hehe funny story GG! Glad you and Stretchie have been reunited with Carla, got any piccies? Beautiful critters corn snakes, we've had a gecko in the past which gave us much enjoyment. My dad would love a snake but my mother's too much of a scaredy cat lol!

Re: She's alive!!!
Just got back from thailand, my Grandma hates spiders, but really likes lizards*. One night in her room this huge spider wanders in through the gap above the window, my Grandma was apparently ringing round our rooms to get one of us to get rid of the thing (we were out on the pi$$! Sorry Grandma!), when this lizard walks in behind it, stalks it for a few feet across the wall then grabs onto it and NOM NOM NOM... Green splat on the wall, no more spider and a lizard with indigestion
*Mosquitos really love my Grandma, her immune system really hates them. When she lived in Gibralter a gecko moved into her bedroom and kept the place totally mozzie free. It eventually turned almost translucent and blended in nearly perfectly with the cream coloured paint on the wall. I don't think that incident has done her opinion of lizards any harm at all! Whoa cool. Though I suspect a 12 bore may be more useful than a can of RAID... it'd be like watching starship troopers...

Very lucky to find the corn after hibernation!!
Got a royal myself, and he's tried to escape before now, always stopped him though. |
