Edit:-
I've placed a poll option here

As for Me, my engine casing is split apart in 4 pieces, and internals are still all baged and taged in containers, and with the lack of spares. I think I might not be seeing you lot down at Ripon for a Cuppa and Breakfast and a little riding around my old Fav stomping ground...
So hopefully will get to catch up with you lot before the biking season is over though.

ps, I do ride through the winter as well

I wonder if the signs back to Ripon will be anymore easy to read this time?

Sorry guys, would love to come along again but I've been forced by end of uni degree to defect back to the South West Surfers lot. Unfortunately, the roads down here are crap in comparison

Enjoy the rideout though, at least I got to come along to one and meet a couple of you.

Sorry guys, I'm unable to make it to this ride out.

Started up the bike earlier today, and an earth shattering bang ensued!! Looked around the bike, nothing visibly wrong, no smoke, no flames, so what the heck!! Started it again, no problem, jumped on, threw caution to the wind and rode to Leeds and back, but bike definitely feels odd. Kinda feels 'bouncy'. That's as best as I can describe it. Checked tyre pressure, both ok.

I'm feeling less brave now about riding it, so I'll spend the week end with my family and get the bike seen to on Monday.

Hopefully I'll make it to the next ride out.

OK Kids,

We have to face the real possibility that it will be raining come Sunday.

Heres my take.

Light drizzle I can do, but any heavier and for me its not an enjoyable experience. I don't ride in the wet if I can help it, its not good for me or my bike.

So, if its raining then I won't be attending I'm afraid. I organised this ride out for the middle of August because, stupidly, I thought the weather wasn't going to be a factor.

I will make my final decision come Sunday morning, but if riding in the rain is your thing, then have fun.....but it doesn't float my boat (see what I did there....)

I think the summer is coming in September so I'll put together CS3 for then....

Ditto mate, it's a long way in the p***ing down rain from Wigan too!

I also doubt my ability to ride when suffering the effects of the night before - anyone who saw the state of me at AR07 will know what I mean!

I'll have to count myself out for this one, maybe next time.
