Just tried one on today, best fitting helmet (for my head) I've ever tried. Pretty light and me breathing like a sex offender with the visor down didn't mist it up. The internal smoked visor is trick as you like and works well. Good helmet if you wear glasses too (mine were in with the internal visor down at the same time).

So, a matt black one is on order for me.
(just realised I need a smiley with a helmet on)

I'm finding mine to be very noisy, but every thing else about it is great.

I tried one of these on at the weekend and was really dissapointed

The foam/padding seemed really hard and uncomfortable, the breath guard got caught on my chin and the inner visor hit my nose

My existing lid is a Schuberth Concept - flip front, with inner visor
Lots of space between the front & my chin - maybe I'm spoilt

Well those Schuberth Concept's are like 3 times the price of the Caberg.

I had the Caberg Justissimo and have just started using my Schubert S1 this week. You cannot really compare the two. The Schubert is way better than the caberg which explains teh price difference. The caberg was gr8 at first but with time the anti fog wore off and no matter what I tried it kept misting up. Engine/wind noise is almost inexistent on teh Schubert, I read somewhere it is the quietest helmet on the market? There is a Helmet test in Ride this month and Shoei was best with 3 seconds and the Schubert was one of them.
Anyway I do not regret the £300 I spent on the lid!

I bought a V2 last Friday and have to say for the £90 it cost me that it's excellent value for money.

Plus points

1) Fits perfectly.
2) Inner visor is near perfect (nowhere near my nose Toady ) and will save me around £50 a year that I would have spent on tinted inserts. It's also wonderfully convenient, is road legal and allows glasses to be worn too.
3) Both main visor and inner visor are excellent for anti-misting.
4) First class styling, it looks expensive.

Minus points

1) Noisy. Not quite as bad as my AGV but almost.
2) Some of the components are a little cheap but what do you expect for ninety sovs?
3) Optional fitted chinguard is a little short.

Overall am I happy? Absolutely, a good buy. But like anything else, everyone is a different shape and has different needs. Try one on in the shop, it could just be for you.

Okay just seen this on this satellite site:

http://www.cabergv2.co.uk/default.asp

£79.99 delivered!

One point I've found is that there's a special way of getting the inner visor back in (the maual is total crap, naturally). After trying for an hour and a half I finally found the easy way is to remove the inner visor slider control (on the out side of the helmet), push the visor all the way in, then refit the slider by tilting it in towards the helmet. Job done in seconds.

I'm starting to think that the inner visor is one of the greatest inventions of the 21st century.

will agree on the inner visor revolutionising having a tint.

DON'T recommend the iridium inner visor it scratches and marks in seconds

yes its noisier than my old shoei BUT much better fit for my head and still haven't had it mist up after 3 months of use!

Thanks for the tip, I'll stick to the dark tinted then.
