Default Re: Motorcycle ''Instructor'' Training?

me thinks I may have to start re-training in U-turns then on the SRX next month....
Haven't done a U-turn in the conventional way since I passed my test and got the SV 3 years ago!! And we all know how SV-s's are for U-turning.......erm they don't, very well. As fer the SRX its the best cartwheel in a U-turn, for the job. Perfect for brushing up on my skills cause i seem to have added a few bad habits on top of my good ones along the miles

i have recently trained a friend of mine to be an instructor her plan was to open up her own training school in the new year but due to unforseen things its not going to happen, i would say go for it but the only way to make a living at it is to open your own school dont teach cbts do full training courses like i do those are the people who want to learn and build up a good reputation you will be busy all year round i started on the 30th december and am booked untill 1st march.

go for it girl

if you need any advise drop me an email

I will probably just do CBTs as a starter, then again, I may get a real taste and go full on. I'll progress if and when I'm ready. I got a few things to consider before thinking of 'Dizzyblondes' school for girls. However the idea has crossed my mind on many an occasion. But seeing as though I can't see where I may be living in six months time I can't lay down large plans like that. Its a skill ya can take anywhere, so that is my train of thought just for the moment

well got phone call tonight to say i had been accepted. but have thought long and hard about it since the interview. the cost ?1000 could be paid off by working for nothing for 10 weekends but it would mean relying on my daugher looking after her wee brother, didnt think that was very fair. im also moving in the summer so didnt think that was very fair to school. so phoned back and said im not going to do it. may look into it once I am settled in new place.

took the leap of faith today and called my old training school main office. The guy was more than happy to take time tomorrow( or any other day that he's not instructing) to have a chat about training.
My current employment is really hacking me off, so I thought this would be the best time to look at my options. So we'll see tomorrow what he has to tell me
