Ideas wanted for music festival barbecue food

Ive been to download last 4 yrs running and every year we tried taking different foods for bbq etc. Sausages n that will last for the first day/two at the most but otherwise a no go. Bread is the easiest, and then as said, tinned food is the best, beans etc, can heat up in the can on the bbq and goes with the bread, Custard i found was a good breakfast lol.

Damn , taking food with you ???

Spend your cash on smuggled in Jack Daniels , and somebody always drops food on the floor , don`t eat too far down and it won`t get too gritty , Bins are a good source of food for those that cannot be bothered to finish a meal .

Oh come on , no one will recognise you anyway

On a side note , how about taking meat for the first meal , freeze it and take it out at the last second and set off , will be defrosting as you ride there and ready to cook when you are set up . I also barter with the food sellers , doing the old "I`ve only got 2 quid , what can you do for me ?" routine , failing that , when they aren`t looking ...... nick it
