The insurance ain't worth the money on loans, get better life insurance as it will be cheaper, most have the T&C down so tight I'd be amazed if they paid out.
Oh and forget it if you're self employed.

I'm not in the totally skint club, but up to June this year, if I've had £50 spare at the end of the month I was extremely lucky.

I live far below my means nowdays as most my moneys being put aside in a futile attempt to get a mortgage (its took two friends and their partners 3 years to just raise deposits and have both had to buy shacks)

He's not a pro,
He won't have any liability insurance,
He won't do the work to the quality of a professional.

It's a struggle to run a business atm, reduced rates aren't good for us, we have vans, tools to keep going, accountants fees and tax to find every 6 months.

I'm not moaning, I'm just getting on with it but please don't assume we are ripping people off or overcharging.
yea with all the overheads i understand.
maybe thats why they can say it will cost £10 per square foot.
and i'm only asking for them to paint it.
i'm not too smart but charging £10 per square foot to me IS taking the ****.
oh well maybe this year..

proper external paint is expensive, and it can take 2-3 days to paint a house,

most trades are between £120 - £140 a day plus materials etc, but when you work that back minus tax over heads etc etc its not a whole lot of wonga, its what they have to charge to make a living, people aren't in business for the fun of it, they are there to make money.
