I could be up for this. I have however said this in the past only to be scuppered. I'm planning on it, but don't be suprised if I dont turn up.

Maybe better to arrange it on the weekend? Just an idea, I'm still keen to go out this thurs if you lot are..

If we are then I suggest 6pm at the Shire Horse and ride till 8 or so.. I got a route planned, could just make it up as we go along! B roads are where I need practice!
Hmmmmm, out last night Midnight until 4 am, out this evening 9pm until about 10 minutes ago, Hey I got lights.

so what's the problem ?

Cheers Mark.

Rubbish night vision me....it's either hang on to car tail lights or "Use the Force"....

Though a new Visor might help

Me too. I hate riding in the dark. I did my CBT in the dark, mostly in unlit country roads, it was horrible.

Nick can feel the cars and road around him which means that he can get away with using his dark visor at all times of the day and night!

All peripheral distractions removed, a true point of focus (leading edge of your lights), broadcast other traffic(their lights), shadows giving greater info on the road surface, it’s great, as long as you ride (as you always should) within your abilities, it’s not a problem, in fact can be very relaxing.

If it’s an area of weakness then perhaps a bit of practice is in order to enjoy it?

Cheers Mark.
