Can't wait.....only three days till I get to tinker.....Is it difficult doing? I presume I am right in saying it is simply a case of cutting the link pipe (about 30mm from the main pipe I have been told) using a hacksaw? Then a case of slotting the new one in and connecting it up....is there anything else I need to be wary of? Also, should I use any form of loctite etc and if so where?

The pipe is double skinned so there is a fair bit of cutting. I haven't used any sealer on my exhausts. The gases should just take the route of least resistance. Which is the can.

PS: cover the swingarm with lots of tape to prevent marking it.

or better yet, seek out a double walled cardboard box and tape that round the swingarm, sticky tape vs hacksaw/angle grinder/dremel isn't one i'd like to see the outcome of

Measure two or three times, then cut once.

Use a new hacksaw blade

Renegade recommended clear silicon sealer for the joints, as it does not set hard. Smokes and smells for about 10 minutes after starting up.

Firstly, I'm resurrecting this because its more applicable than starting a new thread.

So as some of you might, or might not know. I too have a Scorpion Street Extreme. Its loud, we've covered that already. Now, my question is this:

I've not removed the baffle. But there doesn't seem to be one there.....look:

So: Where's my baffle??!! Did I get one without?

That little hole at the bottom is just that, a threaded hole, with nothing in it....

Yup, thats correct, it appears as if you have no baffle. Where did you buy it from?
