it is advisable to make sure that you get your bike tested before the track day as Castle coombe have to be very very strict on who they allow on their track..
SH not a hope in hell my friend not with that hideous sounding can (not bitter honest ) |

I'm just going to strap my original can to the bike... if any-ones else's curvy passes with one on then I know I'll be fine.

Thanks Kate, I read that also. It does not look good for me.
I know my gixer thou even with the standard odd looking can sounds a tad fruity when it revs because of the funny cable operated valve opens just in front of the muffler, with the yoshi even with the baffle in sounds a tad louder. I don't think it's got much chance of passing. Thankfully I only live a few miles away so it's no trouble to get it checked. I could fit a Scorpion that I can't (won't) afford that should pass according to the clever people at the factory who seem to know what they are on about. They use a dummy valve thing so you don't get the FI error as they don't have the valve in the system. From what I recall from talking to them the valve is mainly operated to restrict the noise for the EU. Oh well, if it's too loud then I'll just go and watch the other loons and take photos/make tea/laugh at the others |
