I'm gonna ask a nursey for a big syringe tommorrow, cheap as junkie breath.
I use a syringe do do mine, much easyer to put the fluid in from the bottom through the bleed nipples and push the air out at from the top through the reservoir than the other way around.

Got some questions concerning the syringe option, which I really like.

- How big must the syringe be to get the entire system filled with brake fluid?
- How does the syringe method work when you have pushed the pistons all the way back in the calipers? For example if you have taken the calipers apart and cleaned them.
- Do you need to bleed the brakes after you have filled the system with the syringe? Also referred to my previous question.
- Does this method work with any kind of brake hose set-up? I've got the stock set-up in a braided lines version on my 2003 SV.

Thanks!

i recon, as you fitted new pads, you need to bed em in.

takes about 50 miles, afterwhich, brake feel and strength will improve millions.

Had a nightmare time when I tried to bleed my brakes, after replacing the hoses I spent hours trying to bleed the barkes and was making a right bodge of it, in the end I went to a local bike shop to get some advice, and the nice mechanic came out after he finished work and did them in no time, but he bled them first from the reservoir and made it look easy.
