Supervox have you ridden a TL, I am thinking of one for a next bike, I dont think I can stetch to a SV 1000 on my budget

I am thinking of a TLR rather than the TLS I like the fully faired look of the TLR

Hmmm Someday somebody will make a litre V-twin with at least a 22L tank... Most big sports/sports-tourer twins give about 100 miles on a 17L tank (SV, Falco etc...) And yes, it's a pig to push uphill !! But at least I helped you Alan

I think you'll find a noticible difference in the build quality between the VFR and the SV. However, saying that, the SV Thou' certainly has more "character" about it, and you don't see one every other lamp post either.

You'll get a much newer SV for your money too....

True, maybe 110 commuting for the light on an SK3, 125 touring, but the light is pretty conservative - I have done 158 and there was at least 1.5 litres still in the tank.

I've swapped from a Y-650S to SK3-1000S. The extra power is nice, and I like my thou, but the handling isn't quite as sharp - more so than I expected just allowing for heavier weight. It may be the bike's CoG is higher too - for a short **** (5' 7") the 650 was easy to touch down, reverse etc but I have real trouble with the thou and often have to get off and push.
