Be fine, don't worry, do you have to declare your points to your insurance company if its only 3 points?
Of course you do. It's still a change to your licence.

It's then up to them as to whether they adjust the premium. Generally, for three points, they won't.

But surely only at renewal time Was Falc asking do you have to notify them like you have to notify them of an accident?

When I got my 3 points I called the insurers who said they were only interested at renewal time.

Hmm. It's best to notify your insurers as soon as you have the points, but they won't make any changes to the premium until renewal time. The last thing you want to do is leave any scope for an insurer to weasel out of a claim due to a change in material facts.

Go shopping to celebrate. The place I'm getting the Gixer from has two 600s, one blue/white, one yellow/black. Suit you, sir!

Am currently discussing the Pro's and Cons's of getting a 600 vs a 1000cc bike with my good lady. Need to find out what the insurance difference will be as that might become restrictive for the thou.

My primary motivation with the thou is that it is future proof ie I wont feel the undying need to upgrade in 1yr time. This will allow me to mod it a bit and do my own servicing etc. I also reckon that if I am already thinking about a thou then I wont last long on the 600.

I'm not too concerned about it being too powerful as I know that I'm not going to get stupid with it...I dont get carried away like sime!

Need to sit on a load of differnt bikes and get a feel for all the different bikes/manufactures on the market but currently torn between a 2007 600rr or a 2005 blade.

Thoughts?
