Booked the day off so all you lot better be able to keep up.
JOKING - i'm slow so please dont leave me behind on the lonely welsh roads unless with map and compass sellotaped to tank. Better get this C & S set swapped! Tim, want to pick me up on way to Ed's? I live just off Holyhead road so catch you at the BP garage? |

Re: Wales ride out - 7/3/11
I just passed your place, Mr Letters. Bike was over Wylies for a MoT. Richard (younger of the two) did it, gave me an advisory 'Exhaust is leaking but is not excessively noisy' and 'Number plate loose'. 'Well Richard that's cos I only put the standard can on just before I came over, and I couldn't get some cement round the back of the join, and it'll be a damn sight noisier when I get home and swap it back. And if the Government expects me to ride around with an air brake/dinner plate on the back, hardly sprising it come loose, but I promise that when I'll put the illegal one back on I'll do up the screws a bit tighter'

Re: Wales ride out - 7/3/11
perfect - 9.30 it is. I'll be the one on the pink vespa with a 99 icecream in hand.
Like it Ed - bet they get it all the time... interested to see a few other svs now to compare noises Reminded me i need a new plate for my scooter actually (really have one jsut not pink) - disappeared on a ride from Telford to Wellington so if anyone passes it by the roadside grab it for me as i haven't a clue where it went! |

Re: Wales ride out - 7/3/11
They insist on the can being on the bike, auto fail if not actually on it - he came out and said thanks for making the effort as a lot of people turn up with a loud can and it's just a waste of everyone's time.
