Re: MMM, I'm feelin peckish
I had a Goose that was twice glazed with Maple and Pecan , Roasties done in Goose Fat , pan fried Sprouts with Chestnuts and Red Onion , Maris Piper mash with Leeks in it , Parsnips with a Honey glaze , stuffing balls , Pigs in blankets and Gravy made from the Giblets . It was bloody nice and no stress at all , just cracked on with it all during the morning and ate around 4 in the afternoon as I prefer a late lunch on the day . Unfortunately I fell asleep as I was steaming the pudding and awoke to a house full of acrid smoke , so spent from 9 onwards trying to get the house clear of a thick choking fog . Once that had done one I knocked up some rather tasty Mince Pies with Gingerbread flavoured Custard ...... it was actually nicer than the predicted Pudding I was supposed to have . The day was accompanied by a bottle of Cava which was drunk during the assembly of said dinner . Then 4 bottles of different Badger Beer during the afternoon and then the evening was sponsored by a few glasses of Port .
Today has consisted of a lovely and crunchy Bubble and Squeek and a proper Coffee Last edited by xXBADGERXx; 26-12-11 at 01:27 PM. |

Aye , stripped the carcass and threw it into a hot frying pan to add a touch of crispyness to it , then into a pyrex bowl with Madras sauce and into the oven for an hour on Gas Mark 4 .
