Jake, good plan so far mate, Rictus' route is spot on for the route to Rye.
Double back as you say To Lydd (Not over keen on this as theres always lots of cars!! I prefer the run across the marsh! Head up the 2070 to Hamstreet, then over towards Canterbury, then to whitstable. |

ok, the road across the marsh then, turning right at brenzett to head into hythe then onwards to H's, then whitstable etc? |

no no, we will take the marsh road, for one I love it, and when we were going to be taking the a20 we would have come across it once so was going to take the camber road.
plan coming together nicely, just need some route from H's onwards also, wondering if theres a decent a road to take from folkestone/dover to H's rather than boredom of the A2? |
