Another downside is the amount of money being poured into the tank. It's costing £16 to fill up each time.

I find if you turn your head to the side when at high speed, some of the bugs get blasted off the visor. The guy who was talking about having his visor up and a fly in his eye, this weekend I did a similar thing, except it was a bumble bee that hit me in the cheek at about 30, hurt like hell!!! I use screen wipes, they come in a re-sealable packet that fits in your pocket. About ?1.50 for 20 or so.

riding with my visor up this morning a big juicy one it me just under the eye not sure wot it was but a load of green slime on me cheek yuk put the visor down after that !!!!!

I tend to ride visor up and my aviators on, I get a fair few bugs splattered across my face but it's better than passing out from the heat, I have to say.
