Re: Loud pipes redux
If I'm driving my car with a bike following me with high beam on, I will move my mirror to stop his headlight shining in my eyes which, ironically, will make me less aware of what the rider is doing. Even in daylight, a flashing light in your peripheral vision via the mirror is distracting (and annoying). If we, as a group, are irritating other road users with loud pipes or high beams legislation of some type will surely follow; be responsible and respectful to other road users.
I've never used main beam during the day and never had any issues with being seen. I don't have any extra lights fitted either but I do assume that any car at a junction may pull out.

Re: Loud pipes redux
Yes, even in daylight for us mere mortals, high beam is too much
