sorry to here that Mark.
Get yourself thoroughly checked out and hope you're not too sore tomorrow when the adrenalin has worn off and the pain really comes through. [you can thank Rictus for giving me that warning ] |

**Update**
Well I went to the hospital after the crash, had thumb x-rayed and is all ok, just lots of bruising and swelling. It works, but it is painful. Lady who hit me texted her insurance details to me this afternoon, so have phoned up the insurance and set all of that in motion. Have to go to the police station later to show documents and will try to get copies of the statements and send them off to the solicitors. Hire bike company have phoned up, have said they should call back a bit later as not happy riding with an oversized painful thumb at the moment, will aim for later this week. Looking at my gear, helmet has a few scrapes on it, insurance should cover a new one, High vis jacket is a bit worn in places, rest of the stuff is totally unmarked (bizzare). MT

On a lighter note...are you sure it was your thumb that dented the tank though? Ask Tim(coombest) what dented his tank? I'm sure he'll be hapy to show you the pictures |

Christ I would have saved a fortune if this had happened to me a few weeks ago! I reckon I would have made £500 on the insurance over the px value!
Mind you it wouldnt be worth it for the pain. Hope you are back on two wheels and in perfect health soon. |

Oh noooo! What a nightmare Mark - so sorry to hear about this...
Glad to hear you're pretty much okay - apart from the cartoon thumb. Must have been a real shock though. Lots of Cazza lurve winging its way to you for a speedy recovery. See you soon. |
