Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).![]() |

Whatever you buy Jill, the community here is a diverse one with a broad range of knowledge. Might be worth sticking around, I don't have an SV anymore but still here every day

![]() That is excellent Jill. I think there are lots of forum members that no longer have, or have never had, Suzuki SV bikes. It really doesn’t matter, everyone is very friendly and we welcome all new members. It sounds like you have your pathway into biking well sorted out (there is nothing wrong with a Fazer or a Hornet), but if you need any help or advice this would be a good place to start. It is nice that several members have responded already (admittedly some a bit tongue in cheek!). Good fortune, Alan Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Hahaha aye its been good responses I was actually expecting no reply at all from a post that is 11 years old so just goes to show this is very beneficial. So thank you so much.
Biking family is a good family to be a part of. |

There was a thing on the forum just this eve Jill. Some chap posted a problem with the fuel breather on his bike and 3 or 4 people gave good advice ( and I think have identified the problem) within a few hours. Bikers are generally a helpful bunch, this forum is particularly so. So, get on and pass your test, get yourself a bike and have fun ![]() Alan Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I can tell you are excited Jill, but do be careful, motorcycling can be a bit dangerous (to an extent that is why we do it), particularly when one first starts. The cricket highlights on TV are excellent, we played very well indeed today ![]() Alan Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Of course - learning on a 125 is sensible. When I did it (years ago) there was just one test (250cc before the test - anything afterwards). Still, take care, the jump to a 600cc is quite a big one. England of course (Northamptonshire now) - we beat Australia (pretty easily) yesterday. I like the cricket. ![]() Alan Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
