Thanks for all the info folks!

Thinking about a nitron race shock (£550) plus a fork service, uprated springs and thicker fork oil (£180) ish.

aye run a shorter linkage my self with an ohlins shock find it works alot better than the standard dog bones well worth doin if on a track bike or a bike where the rules allow.

How much rasie at the back do you run with the shorter dog bones? 25mm?

I personally run 25mm (1") but I have a 12.5mm (0.5") set of dogbones too.

Hello and Happy Christmas

While searching for info about my racebike for next year I came across the above post by yourself. Can you please give me more info on this "direct mapping" you talk about and also whats the advantages and most importantly the cost. Im running a K4 here on the track in Ireland for 2010 and the biggest engine mod I can afford is a set of velocity stacks so a bit more info on this "direct mapping" might fit into my budget and help me gain a few more valuable ponies.
