HMMMMMM............... You all seem to be 'quite keen' The sticking point will be accommodation if everyone turns up. So might I hijack this thread for a discussion point:-

What accomodation would people prefer?
  1. B&B where we can all stay
  2. Hostel type accomodation where we get to share dorms? (Petes Eats/bunkhouse/hostel)
  3. Camping
In addition, do folks want to be able to go out for a meal in the evening (without driving) or is cooking for ourselves a possibility?

Finally, I'm not looking for suggestions, just a good idea of what folks want from the overnight accomodations. The location will be dictated by this discussion and the route.

If its a one day thing I wouldnt mind coming along providing I'm not led through any deep muddy rivers again lol
Two day with an overnight stay, but you can join for one or the days if that is all you can manage. Routes will be published closer to the time. I have the routes planned out, just need to go out and clock em.

I'd far rather go for a bunkhouse.

Reason being, B&B costs more, and camping you need to carry a heap of stuff.

I'm interested ... and would be hoping to make the overnight stop this time!
Although all of that depends on weekends with my kids and Easter n all that.

EDIT: Type of accommodation? I'd prefer a luxury hotel with dedicated motorcycle parking, but failing that, I'd settle for bunkhouse type of place
