And, can we have pictures taken after the theme is set?

Rather that go through a past catalogue and find one that fits, read the theme, understand it and go out in order to take a photo for the competition.

All valid points, I would go for, if it were me, pictures that had no photoshop apart from crop, resize and sharpen. Pics that have not been posted in a comp before, pictures from this year only but that maybe all a touch overkill for a fun comp like this one but I'd be happy with that
