I have decided to get my wheels painted while they are out and tyres are off as they are peeling like mad so not going to make this first one I'm afraid.

What a cracking afternoon.
The track is very tight (as expected), but the surface is quite good.
I rode around all afternoon in 2nd gear.
I can't wait to get home and get on the professional photographer's website to see just how bad I looked on track.
I never managed what I would call a perfect lap and made one mistake or another on pretty much every one but as the afternoon went on I gained confidence in the bike, the track and myself, riding harder and faster every session. I'm sure I was still very slow
though.
I had the track to myself on a couplenof sessions and those allowed me to concentrate purely on my cornering (without worrying that I'm holding other people up).

The final verdict from this afternoon: I need to get myself on a proper trackday on a track I can really learn cornering properly.

I'd forgotten how much hard work riding hard is.
I came off after each session sweating and f*****g knackered.
I've not ridden this hard since being on the SV.

Is this event still running as not seen it advertised anywhere? Should be one tomorrow I think. Weather looks ok, anyone going?

Looks like a laugh. You'll need a sight more than 3 laps to get warmed up and used to the place though!
