I'm coming up from Northamptonshire, but I'll be driving with the missus and borrowing a bike when I get up there.

My guess is you were looking for people to ride up with?

I'm quite happy to take anyones tents/luggage that needs that though, if they can get the stuff over to me (between Northampton & Kettering) by the Thursday evening, and pick it up again the following week.

I know SV4Me is planning to do a partial run up on thursday, camp over night then continue to the GM on friday. I dare say you could meet up with them enroute.

And therein lies the error.

As with most GM's that have been organised there are a couple of 'drop out' points for the old and infirm. There is also alternatives for rubbish weather and/or if the recce's highlight issues with the route chosen.
