Re: Fresh as a daisy
Alright. Won't worry about it.
Won't be commuting on it as work from home. Will be for pleasure and nothing else I just like looking at it and wiping the last 30seconds worth of dust off. I put the baffle back in the exhaust as it's a bit noisy and went for a ride. When I came back the baffle was gone! It'll be in a tree trunk somewhere around Leighton Buzzard :/ |

Re: Fresh as a daisy
I would guess that the bars are lower on the 'S' than on the naked variants ( eg. Gladius and AL7 ) and this can put strain on wrists, the height of bars on my AL7 means less weight on wrists and more on your bum (a more 'touring' position). There are threads on forum about people fitting higher bars to deal with wrist ache.

I've got to agree with this, I got my first sv in 2003/2004 but I would then trade it in for something bigger and more powerful but would soon miss the sv. I'm now on my 4th sv

Re: Fresh as a daisy
Congratulations and welcome!!
I've been wanting to replace my sv for a few years but I can't find anything that can do what the SV does. It not the best at anything but it's damn good at everything. Sport riding, two up riding, touring, commuting, even light off roading. I can ride the thing sideways spinning like a dirt bike if its on loose gravel. (note: not for the inexperienced)
