Glad to hear you had good time.
Just a quick warning when you go to change clutch, be very carefull with pressure plate spring bolts , they are made of cheese and don't overtighten them other wise you'll be forking out ££££ for a new clutch basket.

Oh and get a complete kit which includes springs etc.
I'am running heavy duty EBC clutch kit in mine and haven't had a fault yet.

Good luck

Got the luxury of this, so any engine gremlins & I should be ok. By the sound of it, this wreck is going to be worth the £120 I paid for it

Coo, that's taken a fair old clout. Still, there looks to be a fair amount of useable stuff left on it. Well worth 120 sheets to the right person, i.e. you.

Made me laugh when the guy said that he had to remove the frame number so I couldn't put it back on the road
It would cost less to buy a new bike

Here she is virtually finished. Just waiting for my front Goodridge hose and hanlebar grips to arrive then thats it.
Doing another trackday @ Oulton onSaturday, so can't wait to try her out.
Also picked a pair of wet tyres off ebay for £60, so I won't even moan if its raining

Rear disc conversion was a nightmare. When I bought the crashed one I didn't realise that the rear wheel spacer was missing, so ended up making one. The swinging arm was different, but had one & with the footrest hanger i had to re engineer it because 2nd hand, they are as rare as hens teeth and new they cost about £150
I am quite chuffed with the colour scheme which I did in my front room last night (overspray might be a problem to get off everything). It is the same colour scheme as the company I work for, so if I go racing, i might just mention it to the M.D. (sponsorship )
