Should come over here with your lil'uns bike (and yours) There is a quarry opposite the Ponderosa where they play on their off road bikes at weekends.

Home safe and sound

We really enjoyed it today. Was great to meet Mike's son, Jon, and his dogs are lovely. Thanks to James for keeping us company, even if he did turn up on a Krapasaki

Hey Lissa,

Was good to see you guys too, always seem to have a laugh.

We were about a mile away across the steep valley behind the Ponderosa when you left. As you fired up the SV I said to Jon 'That's Pete and Lissa' how loud is your bike if I can tell it's you from a mile away?

We could just make out your santa suits as you left and I recognised Pete short shifting 1st and 2nd. We listened to you down past the quarry until you came back into sight on the other half of the horseshoe (the fast downhill bit before the cattle grid) but could barely see / hear you by then.

Was a nice walk.

PS Thanks for the card, it is most cool!

Having seen the hill you were planning to walk up I was really glad I wasn't going with you!

Nice to see there's life in the old dog yet

I'm assuming here you mean Rowan and not me! The old fella has been kipping very soundly in front of the fire this evening, only moving for food and a call of nature.....

This is the old tart lying at the foot of the stairs.....

And his son (Red) sleeping soundly in the lounge...

Both just taken right now!
