When I was 44 I started seeing a 20 year old girl who I'd met through biking (she has an SV now). In many ways she was the more mature one, but the age gap did show at times. We're no longer together, but we chat almost every day and are still extremely good friends. I doubt we will ever lose that friendship.

Reason for the split - I couldn't get it out of my head that she was 5 years younger than my eldest daughter and only 2 1/2 yrs older than my middle daughter, who was still in 6th form. Also, the ****-taking from my 13 yr old son about him fancying her.

The magic age difference formula is half your age then add 7. So for me, at 26, my age range is 20 - 38

That puts women aged 30 at dire risk of being asked by me.

I'm 27 and Mrs Drew is 21. However, my Brother is 31 and my Sister in law is approaching mid 40's (Not sure of the precise age, I'm rubbish with that). In my view I don't think its a problem, providing you are happy and neither of you get hung up on it, then it's fine. I have asked Mrs Drew before whether she thought she was too young as she hadn't really had much time to live life (Met when she was 19), but she is happy and thats all that she cares about.

Im Indoors is my toyboy......wehay!! I'll be 31 next month and he's 28. I have usually found myself being attracted to those around 10 years older than myself. Although Matt was my mate for a few years before we got together, I found it a little weird going out with someone younger than me. But everyone said it was about time and they'd all been waiting for years for us to be together--neither of us saw it. Ah well....apparently we're very well matched, something neither of us can see either. Love each other dearly though

I dont think tis too bad, as long as you are both similar on maturity. Dosnt really matter who's older

Maria's older than me by 4 and a half months

Exactly Dissuade. I'm 38 , good grief, how time flies. Wife is 35/36. Only 2-3 years I know(depending on the time of year), but when I asked her out, after some persuading and nudging from a mutual friend, I sort of waited until I was 19, and she had left school! It felt a bit of a gap back then, but now, almost 19 years on, we are still going strong.

PS, Dissuade, Nice avatar pic. Is that real pink hair or photoshoped?

i think this entire thread is just so you can all show off about how young your birds or blokes are.

The fact that Mrs Spidey is the same age as me as thus this excludes me from playing is irrelevant by the way
