Iron? Pah!
Blue steel, cat couldn't scratch it!

Pumpkin seed oil ("Kurbiskernoil") like this is good at protecting the old prostate too, got a taste for it in Austria!

Just get a taste for good ol' fruit and veg, you know it makes sense.

If you really don't like any other fruit smoothies might be an option as well. I am not a big fruit fan, but get my 5-a-day through smoothies and veg - Don't really enjoy it too much - but I know how much better I feel now than before, so can't really complain.

At present Sainsburys have theirs on special at 99p, but I prefer the Somerfields ones which are always 2 for £2.50, and they are real pulped fruit, the Sainsburys ones seem very watery - and the Innocent ones simply break the bank

probably too strong a word there. There's been no support that these vitamin tablets actually give you any health benefits. I balanced diet always comes out top.

Yep maybe i used the wrong word when I used "need". According to some sources tho the current thinking is that intake of several vitamins above the minimum daily requirement may prevent heart disease, cancer, osteoporosis, and other chromic diseases. Taking vitamins does not make up for an unhealthy diet, and vitamins are an insufficient substitute for nutrients from fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains, but a general multivitamin and mineral supplement can be a good safeguard.

The last study I read concluded that people who took vitamin pills lead a healthier lifestyle regardless, which removed any credability from these surveys. I'm sure they're more likely to have more benfit than harm though, without question.

Another favourite of mine is 'essential oils'.

Essential? We don't even call the stuff we breath 'essential air'

I just get supermarket multivitamin and also supermarket Vit-C.

I eat plenty of fruit and veg, but tend to take vits too as like someone else said, you might be missing certain vits in the fruit/veg you eat and multivits are normally 100% RDA of most vits ...

WARNING Too much*of any vit (except C IIRC) can be detrimental to health!

*depending on what they are, but I was told as little a +200% RDA is a bad idea of some vits and can cause liver/kidney problems! .. dunno how genuine that was mind ... but it makes sense not to go OTT!!
