Looks good to me - the route round Kings Lynn up to Hunny is a bit dull but there isnt much you can do about that
![]() Leaves me a great route home though! ![]() Fingers crossed I should be able to come ![]()

13th sounds good to me....though the weather for "sunny" hunny is rain for the next six years. Still I'll only have a 20 minute ride home after.
I might have a quick look to see if I can find some better roads to Hunny from Lynn...might mean a detour...is that OK?...I'm happy to find a route from Wisbech to Hunny...there is a Maccy D's/Tescos at Wisbech which might be a good stopping point...I could lead from there? Thinking...from Wisbech take the A1101 and A1122 to Downham Market.....not too bad a road...then the A1122 towards Swafham then a short blast along the A47 then take the B1153 to either Brancaster then A149...think this is not too bad from this point or take the B1454 to Heacham. Both the A47 and A149 KL to Hunny can get busy espically if its Sunny. Last edited by BigBaddad; 05-03-08 at 10:31 AM. |

Great. That's what I need. HELP!
![]() I know the direct route fom Lynn to Hunny is slow and boring, so having put your ideas into play BBD I've got this route now. And it also avoids Wisbech. How does this one look? http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl...6,1.417236&z=9 Or this route? Takes us above Hunny so that we don't have to do the right turn by the Lavender farm. Difficult on a busy day. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl...,0.354309&z=11 Last edited by petevtwin650; 05-03-08 at 10:55 AM. |

Thats a great route you have chosen there from Swaffham to Hunstanton - be aware to any newbies that its a very twisty and bumpy B road with highish banks - great fun though!
Good job Pete! ![]()

That last route looks ace, good idea missing out the lavender farm bit, its not too easy on the best of days, let alone when there's a few of us.
Road of bones, what looks like a 4 or 5 miles top speed stretch.. looks like a great route ![]() I'll definitely be there. Skip, can you wear your waterproofs again? |
