I really do rate the Rosmoto rearsets from JHS Racing, I haven't managed to break mine and I have a few offs in the years I have had them!
Gilles are nice to look at, but to be honest the bolts aren't up to standard and look shabby really quickly and as others have said the heel plates are crap! Why the need to have adjustable ones because you are fitting a GSXR front end??? |

The reason for adjustables is simple.
The bike is currently a standard naked SV with Renthal bars. I plan to do a Gixxer fork conversion using Gixxer clip-ons. This will require a change in the riding position - so will need some new rearsets anyway. But the current rearsets are in a poor state, and need replacing now! So I need adjustable ones, that will cope with the current riding position, and the riding position when clips are fitted. I'm all for buying cheap ones... but want something half decent that will handle the brake light etc. Gilles seem to do this, and if I can get them for ?250 or so, they're a cheaper option than some others!

LSL used to make adjustable ones which also used the OEM brake light spring. All rearsets will handle the brake light switch, its just with most you will have to replace the spring mechanism for a pressure switch built in to the banjo bolt.

How reliable and workable are those pressure switches?

I think I'll probably get the GBMoto ones as things are quite desperate now.
Where can I get one of those pressure switches?

Who's used them? Do you notice losing the heel plate?

These look good too, not much more than the GBmoto ones.
