I don't go past on the left, just overtake as normal then pull in front of them (as close as I dare) then keep going left into lane 1. So all the other driver sees is me going past on the right, almost taking their nose off then pulling back into the left lane.
If you keep an eye on your mirrors as you do this it's surprising how many of these morons follow you into lane 1. Just make sure you go past at least 10/15mph faster than they are going, so when you pull in front of them you are always accelerating away from them, otherwise you end up being the k-n-o-b that causes a motorway accident. |

Overtake on the right and then move back into lane 1 and on my merry way. They probably were still asleep so didn't even notice me.
