Now, I'm not saying you should do it, this is just what I do not advice. SOme people would completely disagree, in fact I know one guy who insists you must never fit a mismatched tyre or you'll die, and you should always replace both at the same time- which to me is obvious idiocy, but he seems to be happy to throw away fronts which are barely broken in.

I've nearly convinced him to let me do his tyres in future so hopefully I'll get them Strange risk assessment that, "No, I won't mix old and new tyres. But I will let a cack-handed monkey man fit them for me"
