Much bigger organisation try and arrange protests and they never come to anything.

See the problem here?

So, who'll vote for me as prime minister? Sort all these tossers out.

Reading stuff like this puts me off wanting to learn to drive. I try to find any excuse not to TBH. I hate cars full stop but have a kid so sometimes wish that I had one for various reasons.
Apart from the instructor fees, test etc, and the ever changing laws of learning, it would cost a fortune to get the cheapset nissan micra on the road. Petrol added to it has just put me off. Me and Im Indoors were chatting earlier about a car, and I for a laugh i said the only option would be a Busa powered mini....he said it could be arranged!
I think I'll stick with my bikes, as they are more economic on fuel for my needs, and with the variety of exhaust that consists of a hollow tube and nowt else apparently is better for the environment. When the government starts to target bike tax as well then I'll get shirty...but for now...let em tax the average family car(which these days is likened to gas guzzlin giant landrover).....that was a naff try at humour....but honestly...why can't people just get used to trying walking to the shop at the ned of the street or getting a bus or train, I have had no choice unfortunatly and very rarely bothers me, only time it does is when both bikes are off road..like now and I don't have a bus service at 5.30 am, so expensive taxi to work is the only option, but by the sounds of it, even thats cheaper than the average little car

Because they are just as expensive, except you have to sit in the cold, more often than not next to a complete smelly weirdo, they are very rarely on time and very poorly maintained.

Example for me to get to London.......

I would have to catch the train to nottingham £12 return or drive and park in nottingham for the day £14

I would then have to catch a train to london from nottingham £120+ and not gauranteed a seat.

All of which relies on the trains running on time and take considerable amount of time.

Or

Drive to london £50 fuel park £20

or

Drive to stanmore £35, Park all day £3, Any zone peak time underground ticket £11

The public transport service at present is complete POO

Argggghhhhh, smelly weirdo, I have to be inclined to agree really, its just public transport doesn't bother me, but when smelly weirdo is involved

well that settles it then...we'll have to all do a sit in protest then, thats every worker in the land......if we all sit at home like lazy oiks it'll bring the country to a standstill, and they'll be no smelly weirdo to sit next to

Thats the point though, it wont work and it appears at the moment that nothing will, it will just continue to spiral out of control, I personally have absolutely no idea how/where/when it will end.......possibly civil war, rioting, looting because people have nothing and cant afford to do thing honestly anymorelol

When it begins to effect me massively i will be really worried, as I know there is alot more worse off than me in the grand scheme of things and if its really effecting me then half the country is already fooked....my sister next door neighbours house got respossed today, the start of things to come.

Well I must admit, for me the whole picture of life in this god forsaken town I live in is bloody bleak. I am seriously considering changing my mind about fleeing the country. I have argued constantly with my other half over it for ages now....but it seems to be looking more and more appealing......because right now the whole country looks like its going to sink, and thats not just the bungalows on the east coast falling into the sea.

Even in my little house I'm struggling. But when plans change in the summer will I really be able to get rid of it for pastures new?
Tax in every form is hitting everyone. And for those of us that have faced wage decreases, amongst everything going up in price, its just not cricket is it
