I think the Shiver has to be the better bike for distance out of those Rictus tested. The Dorsuduro looks like it has Supermoto comfort and I would imagine you're a bit more open to the elements being perched up high.

Yep, it does look like you could attach lots to it (and Aprilia have brought out some semi-rigid panniers, tail pack, and tank cover and bag for it), but I'm not keen on Nakeds and the Shiver doesn't look right, even with the bolt on screen. It looks like a bike that's just lost it's bikini fairing....
Nakeds should have a round headlight IMHO

you mean these

Oh and please don't even think about getting the orange coloured one, it's horrible, silver/ black or even the deep red are OK, and it like the two colour frame as well rather than the (over) gold coloured one.

Cheers Mark

Personal choice really, I prefer the orange over the red.

I have to agree with Mark; not keen on the orange at all (neither's the girlfriend), i'd go for the silver. The blue is terrible and i love my blue sv! I'm going for book a test ride and wait for the faired version

Right!

Spoke to MAXMOTO in Bury St. Edmunds yesterday, and I'll be taking a test ride in September, most probably of a Shiver, but might look at the Dorsoduro as well.
The Faired version is apparantly due in the spring....

..... Got a while yet then

Yeah, it's a bit odd that they led with the naked and followed with the supermoto... Supposedly there's a direct SV competitor and a sportsbike still to come, so why not launch the mainstream ones first?

I could make the shiver look good. But when you get it, it looks s**t

Nah, they had that reputation a while back due to iffy build and reliability but they are supposedly very well put together now and the dealer backup is also good. You arent going to get Jap quality but its certainly not going to be that far off.

But the Dorsoduro is drop dead gorgeous
