Whoever you go with make sure you phone your current insurer and the others offering the best quotes and play them against each other.

express knocked about £75 off the next best quote for me, and the advantage with them is that you can ride any other bike third party.

No Idea............pedal power?

TG - Try Quinns: http://www.quinn-direct.co.uk/motorcycle/ these seem to come up cheap in gocompare.com. Not too sure what they are actually like, but might be worth a try.

All the mods are reversible, all original parts will be provided too, so you could knock them out on here and pay for a years insurance out of it!

I thought it felt ever so slightly non-standard...

So, how's this for the biggest drop in insurance prices from the same company:
Ten thousand pounds down to...
£159.75 including legal, helmet & leather, Euro cover and breakdown!
I think this is pretty good for no no-claims, returning to biking after eight years off.
It was initially nearer to £200 but I did some nifty negotiating (highly recommended - I try never to pay the first or even the second price I get from a company, there's always a bit of wiggle room - the last bit is always to get below the next nearest tenner, in this case from £165 to under £160!).
As Miles suggests (very good advice!), bounce them between each other until you've squeezed every last few pounds off them!
Managed to negotiate a great deal on Sky Plus last year, and mobile phone contracts for myself and Mrs Tallguy last weekend!
I'm not a professional negotiator, but basically have lost patience with people who pretend to give the best price whilst clearly holding back .

Grumpy old man syndrome? Well, if it saves me nine and a half grand...
