Passed my test 10 years ago after doing 2 years on CBT on a 2 stroke 125

9 bikes (4 of which were SVs)

Too many offs most serious was a dislocated shoulder and skinned knees

Lots of miles as I used to commute

Hopefully a good few riding years left in me yet, dependant on my dodgy knees

*edit* did my test in 1997 so have voted wrong

My first bike was a Sinclair C5 which turned out to be all I dreamed of and is still pulling like a train. It now has the added advantage of classic insurance rating.

Licence: 15 years
Bikes: 7 on road, 1+1 on track (ie 1 complete and 1 that started complete)
Crashes: Well into double figures. And I'm man enough to admit that all bar two were completely my fault.
Miles: Wouldn't like to guess, over a hundred thou at any rate.

Passed test in December 2006. Bought the SV. Crashed in Jan 07, after just a few rides- learned loads about tyre pressure that weekend! Haven't really looked back since. Done 16k miles on it in less than 2 years. Great fun to ride (but wears on the 'arris after a lot of miles). Needs some stuff doing (at a bit of a cost). It's a vtwin. Nice!

The next bike will be a H*nda- though not for at least another year I reckon.

Other bikes I've ridden-

Yam SR125 - CBT
BMW F650CS- DAS and Test
CBR400RRRRRRR- my Bro's bike- set up and upgrade by Graeme France- good bike, loads of fun, but an IL4.
VFR800 VTEC - I WANT ONE!!!
