hi all you may be able to answer that question for me shellywoozle as i'm not sure what model SV i bought only its got an after market faring on it and on the log book its sais "suzuki sv 650 sk1" not sure if this means anything lol

That means you've made a mistake and bought one of the old fashioned curvy ones - should have got a modern pointy

Hello from the other side of the North Sea. Curvies are quicker than pointies, the proof is I've never been overtaken by a pointy on track since my 2nd track day

SK1 means it was originally the S (half faired) model, of the 2001 model year ... could be '02 registered but it came off production line in '01.
